How I can support you
Every service is designed around one belief: you deserve care that actually fits your life — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our Services

Individual Therapy
For high-functioning women navigating anxiety, burnout, and emotional overwhelm
You've built a life that looks good from the outside. But inside, the anxiety is constant, the exhaustion is bone-deep, and you're running on fumes while somehow keeping everything afloat.
This is a one-on-one space where you can finally stop performing and start healing.
Together, we'll work through what you've been carrying — and build real tools that actually show up in your everyday life.
Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly via secure video from wherever you are in Louisiana or Florida.
This is for you if you're experiencing:
-
Anxiety & chronic overwhelm
-
Burnout & emotional exhaustion
-
Life transitions & identity shifts
-
Grief, loss & relationship stress
-
Racial identity & cultural stress
-
Self-worth & confidence struggles
Caregiver & Special Needs Parent Support
You advocate endlessly for your child. But who advocates for you?
Parenting a child with special needs is one of the most demanding things a person can do — and one of the loneliest. You fight for your child in every room, with every provider, at every IEP meeting. You celebrate the small wins and grieve the things no one else quite understands.
But somewhere in all of that, you got left behind.
This is a space where your exhaustion is valid, your grief makes sense, and your identity outside of caregiving finally gets room to breathe.
You don't have to keep disappearing into this role. You deserve care too.
This space addresses:
-
Caregiver burnout & compassion fatigue
-
Grief & the ongoing loss that comes with a diagnosis
-
Navigating medical systems while emotionally depleted
-
Guilt, resentment, and the emotions no one talks about
-
Reclaiming your identity outside of your child's needs
Support Groups
Because sometimes the most powerful thing is realizing someone else truly gets it.
There's something that happens when you sit in a room (even a virtual one) with people who actually understand — not just sympathetically, but from lived experience. The shame lifts. The isolation breaks. You remember you're not the only one.
Alera's support groups are small, intentional spaces facilitated by a licensed therapist, where connection and shared experience are at the center.
Current groups are forming now — spots are limited.
Group features:
-
Small, intimate group format (no large, impersonal sessions)
-
Facilitated by a licensed therapist
-
Focused on shared experience & community healing
-
100% virtual — join from anywhere in Louisiana or Florida
